Sleepy baby...

For me there is nothing more peaceful or beautiful than a sleeping baby!

How lucky can you get...

So if finding a four leaf clover is lucky.. then how lucky are you finding a second one?? My daughter has found two so far in our garden. Now the question is how lucky are you if you find a five leaf clover??

You gotta love summer...

I just love summer!! The kids get to play outside, so there's no more screaming and fighting inside. And a plus is that their rooms dont get messy either ;o) Here are two pics i took when i went to check what they were up to (not used to them being anywhere for too long and fighting so was curious about the silence)

As we grow up...

As we grow up, we learn that even the one person that wasn't supposed to ever let you down probably will. You will have your heart broken probably more than once and it's harder every time. Caught finally! Inside this little glass cage is a mouse.. that's right! The same little mouse that has been terrorising the kitchen, cupboards and contents for the last month. We finally managed to catch him. Inside the cage is a small pack of mielie meal he was devouring when we caught him. It seems to have become his little safe haven for now. He has been named Mr Jingles. Any of you that have watched Green Mile will recognise the name ;o)

I have decided that I am going to post some other digital things that make an impact in my day, not neccessarily just photo's I have taken. This pic I got via email this morning and it was exactly what i needed after a very long 2 hours homeschooling kids!!

Day 42 & 43

21st & 22nd July:

Got no pictures to post today. All the kids (baby included) slept over at their aunt on saturday night, so DH and I could have a romantic evening alone. It was such a nice refreshing experience to be alone again after almost a year of kids 24-7. Sunday morning was shocking to experience the total silence in th house. I was enjoying doing nothing so much that i forgot to take any pics. There simple was no chaos to capture!!
