30th June 2007:

This is my EB sling. Just love the material. Baby goes everywhere in this with me or even with dad sometimes. She knows exactly what it means when we pick up the sling ;o)

This is my digareedoo (not sure of spelling). Still learning to play, cant manage the complex sounds yet ;oP

This would be my survival kit... Large cup of tea (must be full all the time) + Smokes + Lighter + LipIce.

This has to be the most beautiful view I have ever woken up to!! Last time I saw snow was in 1981 and I barely remember that...

25th June 2007:

Been very busy this morning. The kids are helping me to make a rug for the bathroom. We've ripped up an old torn sheet and plaited it into a rope. I will then sew this later into a coil.

Mikayla's cousin just couldn't resist putting this teeny tiny nappy onto her eyore.

Day 15

23rd June 2007:

DH brought a huge bag of bananas home from his long business trip. We now have enough bananas to feed all the monkeys at the zoo, or atleast feed these two monkeys at home for a few days. Preparing to bake loads of banana bread soon!!

Day 14

22nd June 2007:

Ok i think my camera or batteries are very wonky cause the two just don't go together anymore. Will take pics with my cell phone for now. This is the wind chime that hangs above Mikayla's cot. She loves it to bits and the sound always calms her down when she's upset.

21 June 2007:

Been working on old family photos, basically scanning them in and cropping to size. Because my camera batteries are dead, here is one of the scanned in pics. This is my mom and dad on their honeymoon. Been crying my heart out looking at photo's. Today is an emotional day for me i guess.

The first day...

Here's the first pic, my painting in progress. This is my version of Klimt's The Kiss. I absolutely love this painting and decided to paint my own version with colours to suit my bedroom, where it will eventually be mounted. Don't think i will be able to physically paint some more on it today but will be lying in bed looking at it the whole time, pondering the next move.
