A little more progress... basically just have to finish off with a few little flowers, the face and arms and then i should be done.

Caught finally! Inside this little glass cage is a mouse.. that's right! The same little mouse that has been terrorising the kitchen, cupboards and contents for the last month. We finally managed to catch him. Inside the cage is a small pack of mielie meal he was devouring when we caught him. It seems to have become his little safe haven for now. He has been named Mr Jingles. Any of you that have watched Green Mile will recognise the name ;o)

23rd July:

I have decided that I am going to post some other digital things that make an impact in my day, not neccessarily just photo's I have taken. This pic I got via email this morning and it was exactly what i needed after a very long 2 hours homeschooling kids!!

21st & 22nd July:

Got no pictures to post today. All the kids (baby included) slept over at their aunt on saturday night, so DH and I could have a romantic evening alone. It was such a nice refreshing experience to be alone again after almost a year of kids 24-7. Sunday morning was shocking to experience the total silence in th house. I was enjoying doing nothing so much that i forgot to take any pics. There simple was no chaos to capture!!

I think i may as well give up with this digital camera! *sigh* Doesn't seem to like any batteries that get put into it. Now of course I can find the purchase slip either. So for now I will have to go through some older photos and make a post or two of them.

What not to do when the lights go out...
Well the electricity was out last night for a few hours at bedtime. So we lit candles etc. Once we headed to bed we blew all the candles out etc etc like one should. BUT.. we forgot to chic the switch for the heater, which stands on that table pictured (so its outta baby's reach). The image above is evidence of what happens when the lights come back on... ;oS

5th July 2007:

Since it has been so cold the kids have been keeping themselves occupied pretty well. Today seems to be jets day. I have paper jets all over the place. This is a pic of what my kitchen table looks like at the moment.

This is my EB sling. Just love the material. Baby goes everywhere in this with me or even with dad sometimes. She knows exactly what it means when we pick up the sling ;o)

Been very busy this morning. The kids are helping me to make a rug for the bathroom. We've ripped up an old torn sheet and plaited it into a rope. I will then sew this later into a coil.

Mikayla's cousin just couldn't resist putting this teeny tiny nappy onto her eyore.

23rd June 2007:

DH brought a huge bag of bananas home from his long business trip. We now have enough bananas to feed all the monkeys at the zoo, or atleast feed these two monkeys at home for a few days. Preparing to bake loads of banana bread soon!!

22nd June 2007:

Ok i think my camera or batteries are very wonky cause the two just don't go together anymore. Will take pics with my cell phone for now. This is the wind chime that hangs above Mikayla's cot. She loves it to bits and the sound always calms her down when she's upset.

Been working on old family photos, basically scanning them in and cropping to size. Because my camera batteries are dead, here is one of the scanned in pics. This is my mom and dad on their honeymoon. Been crying my heart out looking at photo's. Today is an emotional day for me i guess.
